Benedict Park Place 5B is an urban infill project that offers connectivity to the community and employment opportunities in downtown Denver. Located at 290 Park Avenue West, the project consists of four-story apartments (75 units) and modular row homes (16 units). B+Y Architects (now part of The Abo Group) helped the Denver Housing Author¬ity (DHA) achieve LEED Platinum for Benedict Park Place 5B. The design integrates modular and panel¬ized construction, sustainable energy (geothermal and solar), and urban drainage strategies (porous landscape detention and underground detention). This project has redefined how The Abo Group integrates energy modeling during the design pro¬cess and has fueled our ambition to strive for sustainable development.
