The Abo Group, Inc. and B+Y Architects, PC. are proud to announce that they are joining forces effective February 27, 2012 to provide expanded architectural design, planning, and project management services.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For over 30 years, The Abo Group has been focusing its design expertise on a broad range of public and commercial work, forging relationships with clients including Denver International Airport (DIA), City of Denver, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).  "With our recent award of the DIA South Terminal Construction Management contract, The Abo Group needs additional resources to continue to provide a high level of service to our clients, "The Abo Group President Ron Abo explains.  "B+Y offers cutting edge design, sound sustainable practices, and strong Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities."

 

Having established a reputation for being design savvy in low-and high-density housing and having long-term relationships with many developers and planners, B+Y recently broadened its experience by designing an addition for the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum and completing a LEED Platinum project for the Denver Housing Authority.  "Leveraging our individual talents with a shared commitment to sustainability enhances our ability to create meaningful spaces and will take our clients in exciting new directions, "says B+Y's President Kevin Yoshida.

 

Ron and Kevin recognize that the practice of architecture is evolving, and they envision integrating their energies to become thought leaders in architecture, community planning, sustainable design, and project delivery.  Yoshida explains, "The synergy between our two firms will increase our ability to service our client's needs and desires through diverse architectural experience and innovative design."

 

The firms, operating both independently and collaborativelly, will co-locate at 12600 West Colfax Avenue, Suite C-200, Lakewood, Colorado, 80215 in an office building certified by LEED for Existing Buildings.
